Everyone goes at their own pace, but typically children under 10 will take about one year to get through Volume 1.
Volume 1 teaches addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division even with a decimal point. If it's too easy, they will fly through the lessons in a few minutes while still learning cool tricks that make math much easier to solve.

We don’t mention grade levels in Learn Math Fast, but Volume 1 is equivalent to 1st – 3rd grade material with the exception of telling time and the calendar. It is written for all ages, not childish, and with a bit of humor.
