We started using this for our 16, 15 and 10 yr old. The two older ones were pushed through public school math, putting them really behind. They hated math. Last night our 16yr old told us he likes this curriculum and he’s understanding it! I’m also getting a refresher and learning right with them. We are really enjoying this and no more complaints about doing math. Highly recommend this for anyone who has struggled with math, any age! Make sure you start with lesson 1. I have confidence in my boys when they’ll graduate and be ready for the world with math.

I purchased Learn Math Fast to use with my 9, 11, 15 and 17 year old, with the intention of review and reinforcement. They are not “behind,” but because I’ve used different curriculum throughout the years, sometimes there are gaps. I am loving using the book and worksheets. The kids are happy to work on their math skills now. The book is conversationally written, which helps me, someone who loves math and understands it quite easily, explain it simply. I love math, but I am not gifted at teaching it. I planned on only using it for review, but I might continue with it as a complete curriculum for as long as it’s working for us. My kids and I are all very happy with it.

I read all the reviews and thought to myself, self, there is no way this program could possibly work as good as everyone says it does, BUT I WAS WRONG!
My kids don’t complain about doing their math. Dare I say, they actually enjoy doing math now!
It works. It’s easy to understand. It makes math make sense!

My fourteen-year-old daughter seemed to “getting” math but not “grasping” math. What I mean by that is, if she were in a large classroom, I doubt anyone would notice her lack of understanding because her grades were decent if not good. Since I homeschool her, I began noticing her lack of math comprehension and had no idea what to do about it until Learn Math Fast was promoted in an add I received.
This is EXACTLY what she needs! Her older brothers are moving onto college, so we have her high school years to focus in and nail this down. Thank you! I really am excited for her!

My daughter really enjoys this . She has been struggling in math so I decided she needed some review and to go back. This has been perfect so far. She is a seventh grader. I ordered the whole set and started her in the first book. The joys of homeschooling is you can have the time to take them back for review and search for a curriculum that better suited for your child. I came across this when I was searching and it has a lot of great reviews. I am happy with the decision I made to get this curriculum.

I purchased the entire Learn Math Fast system. My 6th grader was struggling in math and I decided to go back to the basics with her. She had been in a private school previously and we didn’t realize how much she was struggling. We are in the first volume and moving through at an accelerated pace. The explanations are really strait forward and easy to understand. This has been just what my daughter needed to gain understanding and confidence in math.

For more than 10 years now as a home-school teacher, my wife and I have struggled greatly w/teaching math to our five children (they range in age (now) from age 6 to 16). This became especially difficult when they got into fractions and beyond. Until this point, it has always seemed unnecessarily difficult to keep each child on track, improving, and moving forward in a clear, confident-inspiring way (for them as a student AND for me as their math teacher). My point here is that despite using several other more expensive, and highly-recommended math programs, and despite the fact that I too am very strong in higher-level mathematics (which is why I took on teaching our children math in the first place), it always baffled me as to how difficult it was (it seemed then) for them to actually comprehend and retain what they were taught. And when you juggle three different grade levels of math (each of my older children is 1 year behind the other), this inherently made my job much more difficult in tracking each child’s individual progress throughout the year. This one subject had nearly become my day job. This is no longer the case, thanks to this LMF curriculum.
This new curriculum almost immediately proved to be a game changer. My first “best-friend” in the program was the placement test. Although a simple and somewhat brief test, after each of my three older children took the placement test, it immediately opened my eyes to each child’s individual weak points. Thus, I was able to not only immediately focus on strengthening said weak area but using the math books, I was able to move them forward, incredibly quickly, to higher-level math. My oldest daughter for example, truly hated math by the end of last year. She had become so frequently flustered and confused that just lost interest in math. Yet this year, after using these materials for a somewhat brief time (only a month or so), and addressing her weak areas first, she almost immediately moved right back into her grade-appropriate math level but almost more importantly, actually told me that she is really enjoying math this year. This is evident not only in her face but as she turns in her algebra work to me, 95% of the time, she gets 100% of the problems correct. It helps of course, that she no longer struggles w/multiplying and dividing fractions (which she did struggle w/horribly by the end of last year) and undoing that damage, only took one week to correct, using the preceding workbook (and clear methods to solve such problems) to catch her up.
I’m quite honestly amazed at how all three of my older children are succeeding in math this year, using the same set of materials. This ability to use the same set for all children btw, is made possible only because of the incredible amount of downloadable primary worksheets (that are also in the physical books) but can be downloaded and printed, saving the books from being marked up), many other workbook resources, additional worksheets (that are not in the books, which is great), and of course, answer keys. Ultimately, I give this program a 10 out of 10. I now feel like I have COMPLETE control over, and confidence in, teaching my children math effectively, from this point forward. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! for this impressive set of materials that you came up with.
